Szwedzki samotny ojciec i feminista udaje się na konserwatywny męski zjazd w Danii. Zastanawia się, dlaczego takie spotkania są potrzebne, próbując zrozumieć gniew uczestniczących w nich mężczyzn. Jego podróż przeradza się w osobisty kryzys, w którym kwestionuje swoją rolę jako mężczyzny, taty oraz relację z własnym ojcem. Rozpoczyna się sześć lat zanurzenia w tzw. „manosferze”, które prowadzi go do fundamentalnej refleksji: co dzieje się z mężczyzną – a właściwie z każdym człowiekiem – gdy kwestionuje się pojęcie męskości? Film przedstawia internetową przestrzeń, w której ultramęskie narracje, mizoginia i poczucie krzywdy rozprzestrzeniają się poprzez media społecznościowe i fora dyskusyjne. Pokazuje, jak działa wspólnota, która zamiast budować dialog, pogłębia frustrację oraz agresję wobec kobiet i zmieniających się ról płciowych.
