Koszmarynki zabiorą Was w podróż przez nocne koszmary, przekraczając granice ciała, świadomości i wyobraźni! Filmy wybrane przez Tessę Moult-Milewską balansują między surrealizmem, eksperymentem, body horrorem i gore. Bohaterowie animowanych historii zanurzają się w mrocznych rzeczywistościach, a ich ciała ulegają deformacji i rozkładowi. Od groteskowych uczt i ożywionych szczątków po kosmiczne mutacje i rozpadające się utopie.
Podczas pokazu zaprezentowanych zostanie sześć filmów, w tym trzy ręcznie realizowane animacje poklatkowe, m.in. niezwykły teledysk stworzony w całości z kości. W programie znalazł się również najnowszy film Levi’ego Stroopsa, którego „Drijf” można było zobaczyć podczas Koszmarek walentynkowych. Widzowie zobaczą także wielokrotnie nagradzaną opowieść inspirowaną „czarnymi obrazami” Francisco Goi – mrocznymi malowidłami, które artysta stworzył na ścianach swojego domu pod koniec życia.
Koszmarynki to pokaz niepokojących, momentami przerażających, ale przede wszystkim niezwykle oryginalnych i znakomitych pod względem artystycznym produkcji z ostatnich czterech lat.
Tessa Moult-Milewska jest reżyserką i scenarzystką z zamiłowaniem do animacji poklatkowej. Szczególnie pociągają ją historie oparte na silnych bohaterkach. Jej prace często charakteryzują się wyraźnie mrocznym klimatem i poczuciem humoru. Jej portfolio obejmuje reżyserię seriali telewizyjnych dla dzieci, w tym „Żubra Pompika” i reklam telewizyjnych, a także tworzenie animowanych seriali telewizyjnych i filmów fabularnych. Absolwentka kursu magisterskiego Directing Animation w National Film and Television School w Wielkiej Brytanii, studiowała również Shadow Theatre w ISI Solo w Indonezji i scenopisarstwo w La Poudriere we Francji.

Dreadtime storieswill take you on a journey through night terrors and the limits of the body, consciousness, and imagination. The films selected by Tessa Moult-Milewska balance between surrealism, experimentation, body horror, and gore. The heroes of these animated stories immerse themselves in dark realities, while their bodies undergo deformation and decay. From grotesque feasts and reanimated remains to cosmic mutations and collapsing utopias.
The screening will feature six films, including three handcrafted stop-motion animations, among them a remarkable music video created entirely from bones. The program also includes the latest film by Levi Stoops, whose “Drijf” was previously shown during the Valentine’s edition of the Dreadtime stories. Viewers will also see a multi-award-winning story inspired by the “black paintings” of Francisco Goya - dark works the artist created on the walls of his home toward the end of his life.
Dreadtime stories is a showcase of unsettling, at times terrifying, but above all highly original and artistically outstanding productions from the past four years.
Tessa Moult-Milewska is a director and screenwriter with a passion for stop-motion animation. She is particularly drawn to stories centered around strong female protagonists. Her work often features a distinctly somber tone and a dark sense of humor. Her portfolio includes directing children’s TV series such as „Żubr Pompik” and television commercials, as well as creating animated TV series and feature films. A graduate of the MA Directing Animation course at the National Film and Television School in the UK, she has also studied Shadow Theatre at ISI Solo in Indonesia and screenwriting at La Poudrière in France.
